Polish Logic

This paper outlines the history of logic in Poland in the years 1918–1939 (with some additions concerning the periods before 1918 and after 1945). The disciplinary and social history of logical investigations in Poland is widely described. The author stresses topics characteristic for Polish logic, namely prepositional calculus, many-valued logic, Lezsniewski's systems, Chwistek's systems and the works in the history of logic.
